Alumnae News

Oftentimes we hear from Alumnae for various reasons and the word does not move beyond our emailbox or desk at the office or home. Therefore we will attempt to share alumnae news on our website when possible so you can know what is happening with our sisters at the same time. Feel free to send us an email as your request to notify others of your well-being, successes and concerns. We will not be held liable for the information shared. And we have the right to exclude whatever information we deem inappropriate for our website. Let's remember to be kind, courteous and considerate of others as we share.

The Day of Honor Henrietta Szold's Family
Western High School Alumnae Association's first president, Henrietta Szold, was enshrined in the National Women's Hall of fame on Sunday, October 7, 2007, reported in the Baltimore Sun (10/08/07 City Native Wins National Honor). She was one of nine inductees honored post-humously.

The Women's Hall of Fame, established in 1969, acclaims women who made valuable contributions to society, especially to the freedom of women.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Temple University and has been a long time fan of James Patterson and Walter Mosley. She is currently working on a sequel to BROKEN.
