A Special Message from Aimee Ayers
Greetings fellow alumnae. It is an awesome privilege to share my professional gifts with you. As a 1985 graduate of Western’s Early College Preparatory Course, I treasure my Western experience. I have wonderful memories of the dance team, pom-pom squad, and AP classes. It was a blessing and an awesome preparation for life’s next steps of college, graduate school and entrepreneurship. To keep the spirit of sisterhood alive, I am thankful to assist the Alumnae Association as needed. Sharing with current students at Unity Day/Adopt a Classroom, participating in the Big Sister Little Sister Program and supporting the association financially keeps my connection alive with Western.
For the past eleven years, I have owned an insurance and financial services agency with State Farm Insurance. My agency is located in the historic U Street Corridor of Northwest Washington DC. We are licensed in Maryland and the District of Columbia. I have an experienced team available to assist with your auto, home, life and health insurance needs. I specialize in financial services including retirement and educational planning. I hold several designations including Chartered Financial Consultant, Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Advisor for Senior Living, and the Fellow Life Management Institute—all received from The American College, Bryn Mawr, PA. My college studies include a BA from University of Maryland Baltimore County in Health Policy and a MBA in Health Services Management from Howard University, Washington, DC.
