Featured This Month - Jessica Williams (Class of 2008)


Photo: Jessica Williams Jessica K. Williams is a 2008 graduate of Western High School. Throughout her life Jessica has always strived to do her best. While at Western High School Jessica was the captain of her dance team, a fashionette, and the treasurer of both the national honor society and her class. She completed high school with a 3.8 GPA and graduated 5th in her class. Currently at Spelman, Jessica is apart of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, a member of the Honors Program, and Jessica completed her freshman year with a 3.8 GPA. Jessica was also voted Miss 1969 for the Living and Learning Center at Morehouse College. Jessica believes that in life it is important to be a well-rounded person and has taken on many leadership roles. At Agapé Miracle Church Jessica served as the youth group president and the dance ministry leader. Jessica is a Ben Carson Scholar and a Henry Hall Scholar at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. She is a woman of integrity, distinction, and intellect. Jessica humbly believes in the scripture Philippians 4:12 - “I can do all things through Christ which gives me strength.” Jessica’s favorite quote is “Good, better, best, never let it rest until your good is your better and your better is your best!” When Jessica looks back on her life she wants it to be full of happiness, humbleness, and love. Currently Jessica is attending Spelman College majoring in political science with a prelaw track. After graduating from Spelman, Jessica plans to attend law school ultimately becoming an attorney and then a judge.
