We often hear from alumnae that their closest friendships and academic foundations were formed while at Western High School. There is also a deep sense of school spirit that keeps alumnae connected to each other and to the school. Unity Day is a unique opportunity for ALL Western graduates to return to Western and celebrate the traditions and accomplishments of our beloved alma mater with students, staff, and all members of the Western community.
There are multiple highlights throughout the day but the cornerstone event is an assembly with student, staff, and alumnae participants. Our talents, history, and goals for the future are explored and expressed in this exciting showcase.
This is a landmark year for Western High School and WHSAA. Both are now under new leadership and the Unity Day tradition has been revamped to reflect how small changes can create huge impacts for the betterment of us all. Western High School has been able to grow, thrive, and flourish through the voluntary contributions of time and financial support of her graduates. The Alumnae Association is responsible for raising, investing, and disbursing funds to support activities and events that perpetuate the traditions of the school. In addition, each year at least 2 graduates receive a scholarship to support their pursuit of higher education.
By choosing to participate in Unity Day beyond the assembly, you will provide funds for necessary capital projects, scholarships, and WHS programs such as debate, robotics, band, dance, the advanced placement program, and many more! We need you to do more than provide your presence; we need you to make an investment in Western High School. The academic rigor and high expectations are in place to fulfill many more generations of Western Doves but we need YOU to support events like Unity Day and make a difference.
*IRS letters and matching gift assistance can be provided upon request.

The All Year Reunion is exactly as its title states - a reunion for all former classes. At this past AYR we had ladies from the 50s, 60s, 70s - all the way through 00s.
It is an event that is generally held every two years. In the past it has included a happy hour, dinner and Sunday brunch.
