Western High School Alumnae Association, Inc. recipients:

 

 

Kayla Burnett

Kayla was a member of the National Honor Society. She aspires to be a Forensic Psychologist to improve the lives of others. Kayla will be attending Delaware State University.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sheila Shaheed

Sheila was a member of the National Honor Society. She plans to pursue a career in the medical profession. Shelia maintained a G.P.A of 4.35 and plans to attend Howard University.

 

 

 

 

 

Maiya Spell

Maiya has been an exceptional leader in the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland, as well as participating in various extra- curricular school activities, including the National Honor Society, at Western. She plans to pursue a career as a physician. Maiya will be attending the University of Maryland College Park.

 

 

 

 

INAUGURAL Victoria L. Stevenson Memorial Scholarship

WHSAA, Inc. chose to honor our fellow alumna and member by establishing a scholarship in her memory.

Mrs. Stevenson (Class of ’68) will be remembered by all as a devoted math teacher.

 

 Kiley Williams

The first recipient of this scholarship is Kiley Williams. Kiley was the president of the National Honor Society. She maintained a 4.61 G.P.A, which is the cumulative of 9 AP classes. Class Valedictorian, Kiley Williams, will be attending Morgan State University.

Madelle Djomou

Madelle was very active in extra-curricular activities at Western, as well as volunteering in the community. She plans to attend Morgan State University to pursue a career in public health to improve the lives of others.
